To add to my ever-increasing arsenal of tents. I have just purchased my first air tent. With £110 off I took the plunge.
The logic behind this tent is that I can use it as my main base during my longer trips, and from any location, I can shoot off for overnight wild camps with my backpacking tent. Also, I can have an electric hook-up (EHU) to recharge and use all my equipment plus run my heating, fridge, light, etc.
It will be nice to have a bit of comfort and extra room on some of my longer trips this year in between backpacking, wild camping, and kayaking in places such as the Lake District. West Country, and Scotland. 😉
Lastly, it would be nice to go camping with Terry, Chris, Lara, and the grandchildren from time to time. This tent could serve as the family tent with my other tents as pup tent's should anyone want their own space.
