I'm Dave, an older gentleman indulging my passion for videography and photography and sharing my thoughts and experiences along the way. For many years, I lived a busy life balancing family, business, and my dedication to martial arts as both a practitioner and instructor.

As I neared 60 in 2017, I sought to ease into a slower pace by taking up relaxing hobbies, initially aerial videography and photography, which quickly expanded to include hiking and flatwater kayaking.

I consolidated my photography, aerial video, and kayaking content onto a single website and Facebook page, as these seasonal hobbies previously had separate online presences.

Whether I'm hiking, camping, kayaking, or visiting places of historical interest, I always make sure to have a camera with me.

About My YouTube Channel:

In October 2019, I started a YouTube channel with some kayaking videos, but in June 2020, I rebranded it to reflect a wider range of outdoor activities I'd rediscovered from my younger years.

My channel is dedicated to inspiring people of all ages to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors, regardless of how they choose to do so. Despite facing the challenges of Stage 3 Osteoarthritis in both knees, diagnosed in 2023, which causes persistent pain in my knees and hips, I remain committed to promoting the positive impact of nature on health and well-being.

I'm grateful for the steady growth of my YouTube channel over the past few years. A huge thank you to all my viewers and subscribers for watching, commenting, and providing invaluable motivation and support!
