My Last Trip of 2021

I am travelling up to  Eyam in Derbyshire this weekend for Chris (one of my sons) and his partner Lara's wedding. To take full advantage of this trip, I will be staying on for a few days and doing a bit of hiking and wild camping. My visits should include Bamford Edge, plus the Ladybower and Derwent Reservoir.  Hopefully, I will produce and upload one or two videos from this trip to my YouTube channel between Christmas and the New Year.

My Two Planned Routes:

Ladybower and Derwent Reservoir.

Bamford Edge

My camping locations will remain private.

A Country Walk Through Knole Park to Ightham Mote, Kent

One of my planned walks for October 2021. Knole Park to Ightham Mote Circular Walk (12.7 km)

Ancient history and glorious views feature big in the Garden of England. This circular walk takes in National Trust houses, immaculate parkland, and far-reaching views in a part of Kent that's the archetype of England's green and pleasant land. The route follows part of the Greensand Way, a long-distance path along a ridge that looks out over the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Darent Valley Trail

Darenth Valley Path from Sevenoaks Station via Bradbourne Lakes plus return to Dartford Station.
