Kent is host to gentle hills, fertile farmland, and cultivated country estates with fruit-filled orchards that cover the area. Penshurst Place, Sissinghurst Castle, and Hall Place Gardens are all well-known for the scenic views they offer and are definitely not to be missed. The iconic Kent coastal houses also dot the landscape and were historically used as a location to dry hops ready for the brewing process. This makes Kent not only The Garden of England but also The Beer Garden of England where some of the finest ales and wines can be found.
