I have just been checking my YouTube channel analytics and the number of channel subscribers is growing steadily. It is nice to know that some people enjoy my videos enough to subscribe to follow my channel.
I am hoping that as we break the chains of the Covid-19 lockdown in England, I will be able to start travelling a bit further afield kayaking, hiking, and camping.
I will be kayaking locally for the next month, and I have a weekend camping planned for mid-May with one of my sons and a couple of grandchildren. Not only that, but I am also booked in at an NT campsite on the banks of Coniston Water in the Lake District for nine days at the beginning of June, this will be my base camp for kayaking on Coniston Water, Ullswater, a day hike to and around Tarn Hows, and a hike up to the summit of The Old Man of Coniston, before descending a bit for an overnight wild camp at Levers Water.
If the Scottish government has lifted the restrictions to allow travel over the border, I will travel onwards for at least a week of kayak wild camping in the highlands.
