Rowtor, Belstone, Dartmoor National Park.
This is arguably the most accessible large tor on Dartmoor's north moor.
While Rob (aka Barnsley Rob) and I were hiking and wild camping for five days in the Dartmoor area, we decided to visit Row Tor for an overnight wild camp.
Our starting location was not the popular route taken by many people, we started from the furthest point of the Row Tor Car Park, traveling mainly off-road to the peak of Row Tor.
An easy walk, we reached the peak of Rowtor in about an hour, stopping regularly to record footage for this video, and the obligatory brew on the route.
Our five-day adventure started with three days of woodland camping followed by one-night wild camping at Row Tor, and a further night on the south moors below King's Tor.
A special shout out to my younger mate. Barnsley Rob, cheer's for traveling with me on this trip, I really enjoyed your company over our five-day adventure. 👍
