This Buddew Electric Lunch Box/Food Heater was bought with my own money.

I recently purchased a 12V/24V/110-230V heated lunch box, which I plan to use on several outings during the winter. I often used a heated lunch box some years ago when I was a gas compliance inspector, regularly traveling throughout the UK with multi-night stays in hotels.

The heated lunch box will mainly be used when I am out camping with my large air tent or once my micro camper is completed. This said it could also be used to have a hot breakfast before getting out on the paddle at the location on my longer drives. So, as well as running through the specifications, I will be heating up two identical 400g ready meals using 240v mains and 12v via my power station.

A couple of basic tests, 12v and 240v heating two Hunger Breaks 395g All Day Breakfast to above 70°C

The Hunger Breaks 395g All Day Breakfast I used to test this food heater is a product I have often used in the past stored in Ziplock Resealable bags for consumption when camping or hiking. Topically I would cook and add several rashers of bacon and an omelette to the mix before sealing the bags and freezing, these make for a cheap alternative to the 300g Wayfayrer All Day Breakfast trekking food.

Price: £25.49  I bought this food heater via Amazon with £10 off of the RRP.
