My Bures to Shalford/Henny Regulator Weir round trip was an enjoyable 9.5-mile paddle. Much of the journey was charming and serene, however, there were several areas along the route that proved a tad challenging.
Shallow narrow overgrown sections, weed-laden stagnant areas to wade through, and large submerged jagged rocks. Apart from this, there was the section around Pitmire Weir that was so overgrown I lost my bearings and got lost.
My AquaTec Ottawa Pro is proving to be a very robust craft.
