Next walk / next video:

With rest,  my knee is now good enough to get out on a short walk along the Saxon Shore Way to make a video on the history of the Barge Wrecks of Hoo. I also plan to fly over Hoo Fort, which is located on Hoo Island.

I wanted to film at low tide but unfortunately, low tide is a 4:54am and sunrise in Kent is at 6.09am. So I will aim for 7am in the hope of still being able to record these wrecks semi-submerged.

The Thames barge in the photo is the most famous of the wreaks at Hoo Graveyard. Ena was used in Operation Dynamo, the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940.

But more about Ena in the video. I am working all weekend, so I plan to produce and upload the video sometime next week, and once the school summer holidays are over it is back to a bit of kayaking and popular seaside town coastal walks for a while.

Love & Peace, Dave.
