I have added a new page to the navigation bar entitled "Walking Routes" On this page, visitors may view my routes via the Mapz website, and download the GPX route files.
I often use a free app called Mapz to plan my walks. I generally plot my routes on the website, and upon saving the route it is viewable via the app on my smartphone. I also downloaded the routes GPX files and uploaded them to my Garmin ETREX 32x. I have been using Mapy for several years and have found it incredibly useful for hiking in the many places I have visited. Many of my walking routes (such as Scotland, The Lake District, and Cornwall) have been deleted, however, I have added several of my Kent walking routes. This page will be updated as and when I plot new routes.
Mapy is a map portal and mobile app that covers the entire world. It is available in multiple languages. The vast majority of features and content are free. However, as of December 2024, Mapy.cz introduced a premium version that includes additional special features.
