Never Give Up

A little bird fell from its nest one day and landed in the grass. Its wings were weak, its feathers ruffled, as the busy world rushed past.

“Oh, what’s the point?” the little bird cried, “I’ll never learn to fly. The sky is far too high for me; I might as well just die.”

But deep inside, a tiny voice whispered, “Give it one more try. You’ll never know what you can do unless you learn to fly.”

So day by day, it stretched its wings and practised on the ground. It stumbled, fell, and tried again, though failure was all around.

The other birds flew overhead, so graceful, proud, and free. “I’ll never be as good as them,” It sighed beneath a tree.

But still it tried, through wind and rain, through every fall and fear. Every time it hit the ground, its goal seemed more sincere.

Then came a bright and breezy morn, when something wonderful took flight. The little bird rose into the air and soared into the light.

It circled high above the fields and sang a joyful song. For all the times it nearly quit, It proved that it belonged.

So when life knocks you to your knees and hope seems far away, remember that the strongest hearts are those that choose to stay.

You may stumble, fall, or lose your way and wonder what comes next. But don't let today's troubles decide what happens next.

For success is not about falling or never feeling pain. It's finding strength to rise once more and trying yet again.

So keep on going, step by step, though the road may twist and bend. For you never know how close you are to the breakthrough at the end.

Never give up, no matter how hard the journey may be. Sometimes the greatest victory is simply refusing to quit.
