I am pleasantly surprised by the response to my little video "A Short Walk From Riverside to Eynsford Railway Crossing" which I uploaded to YouTube 20 hours ago.
Having damaged my camera lens and having to abandon filming less than a quarter of the way into the walk, I considered all the files (footage) to be (in old terms) B-roll on the cutting room floor.
Much of the footage captured was unusable in this video as I was talking into the camera, and I only edited and produced this video to study and gain some experience in using and editing 360 files, and the editing software.
OK, it has only been viewed 63 times so far, but the good response has surprised me. 10 YouTube likes, a couple of nice comments, and several private messages.
This camera is on its way to Hong Kong for repair, and I probably will not get to use it again for at least a month. In the meantime, I will be getting out and about with my other cameras, as I am determined to complete and produce a video of my planned walk.
